The joy of weaving and texture
My favourite part of crafting a new crochet or woven accessory is undoubtedly the creative process of making itself. It's where I can truly add texture and play around with ideas and colours inspired by nature. Each thread, fibre and adornment is carefully chosen and intricately worked, creating a tactile and visually engaging piece that reflects the beauty of the natural world around us.

Inspiration from history and folk crafts
I love local history and folklore and can often be found wandering the local woods or beach, foraging for sticks and rocks. I am fiercely proud of my Lancashire roots, and love reading about the vibrant history of the area and traditional rural crafts and designs. My inspiration is also sparked by local lore and it's tales of witches, legends and mythical beings. I strive in all my work to to imbue each new creation with a sense of heritage and individuality.
